MACKAY NORTHERN BEACHES

The third development phase of the school includes the construction of a new Performing Arts & Music Centre and also marks Ridgemill’s third project at the Mackay Northern Beaches SHS. The construction of the centre provides:
– 2 x dance studios
– 2 x drama classrooms
– A music GLA and ensemble rehearsal room
– Dressing room
– Costume and Prop rooms
– Box office kiosk
– Associated amenities

The building also features a mezzanine level that provides an audio-visual space and lighting gallery, staff workroom and kitchenette. As part of this phase, refurbishment to two existing blocks was undertaken to convert them from dance and drama rooms into general GLAs.
